How to use our products:

Shampoo bars:

There are two ways that we find works well for our shampoo bars, either rub them directly on your scalp and as you rub the lather will build and the aroma come through. Once fully lathered, rinse off. Alternatively, rub the shampoo bar between your hands, create the lather between your palms and then massage onto your scalp. Either way works and gets wonderful results.

We are often asked about conditioner bars. We can’t find a recipe that doesn’t use artificial chemicals and both our experience and the feedback we have had from customers is that with Humble Bumble Shampoo bars conditioner isn’t needed. If you feel you would like a natural conditioner, let us know as we are aware of some natural conditioning solutions that may help.

Soap:

As with any soap, rub the solid soap bar onto your skin for a cleansing, refreshing experience.

Lip Balm:

Our lip balms, in the small metal tins, are sunflower oil based and absorb easily into the lips. Massage the balm into the lips to rejuvenate and refresh.

Jar Balm:

The jar balms are vehicles for the herbs they contain so each has different uses. They are all good skin conditioning balms and can be massaged into the skin however we’d advise avoiding the face due to the volume of oils in the products. The “Soothed” balm has the benefit of being very soothing on rough or dry skin so is often massaged straight on affected areas, the “Calm” “Lively” and “Well” balms are also good to massage into pulse points (temples and wrists) so that the herbal properties can have their full effect.

Solid “Fettle” hand balm:

Designed for climbing friends, take the balm out of the tin and rub it between your hands. It will absorb quickly, leave no residue, and leave your hands feeling wonderful.

Humble Paws dog shampoo bars:

As with the human shampoos, there are two ways that we find works well for our shampoo bars, either rub them directly on your scalp and as you rub the lather will build. Once fully lathered, rinse off. Alternatively, rub the shampoo bar between your hands, create the lather between your palms and then massage into the hair. Either way works and gets wonderful results.

Humble Paws Paw balm:

Massage into your dogs paws either before going out in icy weather or after a walk on hot roads. They may lick some off, it’s natural so will do no harm, and most will absorb quickly so will have an impact and make a difference to your canine friends wellbeing.
