Comfrey is quite amazing, not only is it an absolute favourite of all our local bees (to be fair, all bees, not just those dwelling in the gorgeous Cumbrian countryside), but it’s had a long history of supporting the body to recover and return to balance following breaks and sprains. Will this balm help? Can’t say it will, but some of our customers are certain it’s made a difference.

The sunflower oil (used as it absorbs so well into the skin and is full of vitamin E) is infused with comfrey, peppermint, rosemary and calendula, each herb chosen for their reputed benefits. Full details of these can be found in the herbarium. All the herbs used are our own herbs, grown, nurtured and encouraged in our small patch of Cumbrian countryside.

Instructions for use – some customers have use this to promote healing of damaged bones.

Ingredients:

Sunflower oil infused with comfrey, rosemary, peppermint and calendula – 80%
Bees wax – 12%
Shea butter – 8%
